Jessica Ellen Cornish is an English musician and singer who goes under the moniker Jessie J. Known for her unconventional music sound, which combines soul, pop, hip-hop, and electropop, Jessie garnered much fame early on. In addition, she has won several nominations and awards, for instance, the 'Critics Choice Brit Award', and "BBC's Sound of 2011.' Her career began at the young age of 11 when she was featured in "Whistle Down the Wind,' the musical written that was written by English composer Andrew Lloyd Webber. In 2002, she was cast for"The Late Sleepers," which was the "National Youth Music Theater" stage production "The The Late Sleepers." She came into prominence in the year 2011 when she released her first studio album 'Who You Are,' which was released on February 28. In the UK alone it sold 105,000 units while in the US it sold 34,000. The album was also ranked 2nd place on the charts for UK albums as well as number 11 in the US Billboard 200.
